Las Vegas, NV – July 14, 2025 – Sigma Performance Services (SPS) is proud to announce the reintroduction and expansion of its late model stock car program, marking an exciting new chapter for the company’s grassroots racing heritage. The enhanced program will be led by veteran racer and former SPS competition leader, Preston Peltier, further reinforcing SPS’s mission to combine science, engineering, and a passion for excellence across all levels of motorsports.

SPS has earned a reputation for innovation and excellence, developing solutions that advance performance and elevate the standards of modern motorsports. By assembling a team of highly skilled professionals and fostering a culture of collaboration, SPS continues to lead the way in building programs that help racers succeed at every level.
In recent years, SPS’s ARCA program has taken center stage as an essential pillar of the company’s driver development strategy. The ARCA platform offers a proven pathway for racers working toward professional careers in NASCAR. Led by Joe Farré, the team has invested heavily in building the infrastructure, support network, and competitive resources needed to thrive at every level of ARCA competition. This commitment has fostered valuable partnerships with respected industry leaders, including GMS Fabrication, Chevrolet, and the NASCAR ARCA Menards Series leadership team.
While ARCA has drawn much of the spotlight at SPS, Preston Peltier—a respected champion with decades of short track racing experience—has been steadily advancing the design and performance of the P1 chassis. Known for his strategic leadership, precision-focused mindset, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Peltier is dedicated to continuous improvement and the pursuit of higher performance standards.
During this time, he and his team at Peltier Racing have achieved strong results, campaigning the P1 chassis to marquee victories in major West Coast events and delivering impressive national performances—including leading laps and earning a notable finish at the prestigious Snowball Derby.
“This expansion is more than just an evolution of our programs—it’s a return to our roots,” said Joe Farré, Founder of SPS. “Late model racing is where our passion started, and we’re thrilled to welcome Preston back to lead this effort. His dedication to excellence and relentless drive embody everything SPS stands for.”
The enhanced late model program represents SPS’s broader vision: providing a seamless development ladder from grassroots racing to the upper echelons of the sport. For drivers determined to build their careers in NASCAR, the combination of the SPS late model and ARCA programs delivers a complete, professional pathway backed by engineering expertise, proven equipment, and an unwavering commitment to quality. This program is designed to offer drivers not only a competitive platform to showcase their abilities but also the support and mentorship necessary to develop into the champions of tomorrow.
“This program is about more than building fast cars—it’s about building confident, capable drivers who are prepared for the next level,” said Preston Peltier. “It’s impressive to see what Joe has accomplished on the ARCA side. He’s developed a strong program and forged relationships—including with Chevrolet—that will be instrumental as we expand this effort. I’ve had a long history with Chevrolet, and they’ve supported me throughout my career, from racing late models to working in the Cup Series as a crew member. Together, we’re committed to creating a platform that helps drivers progress from Pro Late Models and Super Late Models all the way to ARCA, Trucks, and beyond.”
In his expanded role, Preston will continue to advance the development of the P1 chassis while maintaining the strong relationships that have contributed to its success. He will remain dedicated to supporting existing teams and programs that rely on the platform, ensuring they receive the same high level of service and technical expertise. At the same time, he will focus on creating new opportunities for growth and collaboration, helping SPS broaden its reach and impact across the late model racing landscape.
SPS remains committed to advancing motorsports by innovating, building, and executing at the highest levels. From local short tracks to national series, SPS will continue to fuel dreams and shape the next generation of racing champions.
